The William L. Cahn Record Collection

The Record Collection is preserved and housed here, at the Wells-Rapp Center for Mallet Percussion Research. The Collection consists of 13 boxes, with each box containing disc records manufactured between 1890 and 1935 of music that features primarily the xylophone, with some featuring marimba, vibraphone, glockenspiel, tubophone, and tubular chimes. Each box is numbered with each disk record inside arranged in numerical order to correspond with it's Archive number.
